Diane Medler - GSL / Trainer

Diane joined the Scout movement as a Cub Instructor at 16 years of age in North London. She went on to have a warrant in the Cub Scout section as ACSL and CSL.

Moving to Essex in 1969, Diane was soon asked to help out and held ACSL and CSL warrants in a Sea Scout Group for the next 17 years. While in Essex she worked on the Training Team.

Following the families move to Northamptonshire in 1987 she joined the 1st Higham Ferrers. Diane was appointed ACC Cub Scouts in 1991 and soon after became a member of the County Training Team.

Diane has gained her competencies in Facilitating, Presenting and Directing.

Diane has said that as her whole family are involved in Scouting (her daughter as a CSL, her son as a SL in Scotland and her son in law as a GSL) the time she has spent Scouting has not put them off.
